Our final train run for this season is Saturday, Oct 22, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (weather permitting).
We had a very successful run on Sept. 24. The weather was cloudy, cooler than it had been lately, and the run was 4 hours long instead of our usual 2 hours.
With that being said, we gave rides to a record breaking 953 riders. All types of engines were in use -steam, electric and gas.
Below are some pictures from that run and you will find more on our photo pages.
We are experimenting with different run times to see what works best for the engineers, volunteers and the public.
We hope to see you at the station (3819 Cleveland Rd., Sandusky, OH- Erie Metro Parks-Eagle Point).
